ELECTRIKJAM’s Guide To The Best Gear To Get This Black Friday
I know, I know—another Black Friday email. You’re drowning in them. Adverts, newsletters, and more “deals” than you can shake a guitar pick at.
But trust me, this one’s different. No fluff, no nonsense, no weird “deals” on kitchen blenders.
We actually sat down, went through pages and pages of products, and discussed what our audience (that’s you guys) would like the most.
The best stuff we found, the most useful and practical (the kind of thing that’ll serve you for years to come) is listed out below.
🔥 SQUIER PARANORMAL NASHVILLE STRAT – $100 OFF!
Was: $429.99 | Now: $329.99 @ Guitar Center
Why It Rocks:
The Paranormal Nashville Strat isn’t your run-of-the-mill Strat. This beast is a glorious mash-up of Stratocaster and Telecaster DNA, offering you the best of both worlds.
Versatility on Steroids: Tele bridge bite meets Strat spank for tones that’ll cover blues, rock, country, and beyond.
Unique Factor: Perfect for players who want something different—this isn’t your average Strat clone.
Deal Sweetener: A crisp $100 discount makes it a no-brainer.
💡 Pro Tip: Looking to stand out in tone and style? This one’s a keeper.
⚡ MXR M66S CLASSIC OVERDRIVE – UNDER $50!
Was: $69.99 | Now: $46.99 @ Guitar Center
Why It Rocks:
MXR is the underdog of the pedal world, and the M66S Classic Overdrive is proof they know how to bring the heat.
Budget-Friendly Brilliance: Killer tones for less than the price of a fancy dinner.
Smooth Yet Punchy: Whether you're boosting your leads or warming up your cleans, this pedal nails it.
Insane Value: At under $50, this is a steal—don’t sleep on it.
đź’ˇ Hot Tip: Perfect for beginners or pros who need a reliable, gig-ready overdrive without breaking the bank.
🎸 PRS SE STANDARD 24-08 – $83 OFF!
Was: $549 | Now: $466.65 @ Guitar Center
Why It Rocks:
PRS guitars always ooze quality, and the SE Standard 24-08 is no exception.
Tonal Chameleon: Thanks to the switching circuit, you get a crazy variety of tones for any genre.
Rock-Solid Build: PRS is famous for their attention to detail, and this guitar plays like a dream.
15% Discount: A significant cut on a guitar that’s already a bargain at full price.
💡 Why You’ll Love It: A perfect pick for intermediate players looking to step up to a professional-grade instrument.
🌀 PIGTRONIX GLOAMER – $80 OFF!
Was: $279 | Now: $199 @ Guitar Center
Why It Rocks:
The Pigtronix Gloamer is for those who love pushing boundaries. It’s a weird pedal, but that’s what makes it awesome.
Dynamic Textures: Think volume swells, compression, and spacey soundscapes.
Best Paired With: Reverbs and delays—this pedal thrives in ambient and experimental setups.
Crazy Discount: Knocking it below $200 makes it a great entry into boutique pedal territory.
đź’ˇ Pro Tip: Love creating wild soundscapes? Add this to your board now.
📣 BOSS KATANA GEN 3 – $40 OFF!
Was: $399.99 | Now: $359.99 @ Guitar Center
Why It Rocks:
The BOSS Katana Gen 3 is the Swiss Army knife of guitar amps—seriously, this thing can do it all.
100W of Pure Power: Loud enough for gigs, quiet enough for bedroom jams.
Tone Crafting Made Easy: Built-in effects, amp models, and endless tweakability.
Small but Mighty: A portable 1x12 combo that punches well above its weight.
💡 Why It’s Worth It: Whether you’re a beginner or a gigging pro, this amp will have your back.
Let us know what you got in the comments. Me? I finally decided to pick up the Katana 3 to replace my ageing Orange practice amp.
Chris has the MKII and he loves it. As soon as the Katana 3 dropped, I knew I’d get it – but I cleverly waited until Black Friday to do so.
I also own the PRS SE 24 and it is utterly outstanding – so much guitar for not that much money. It plays and feels like a $1000+ guitar. If you’re in the market for an upgrade, I can vouch for the PRS SE 24 big time!
Peace.
Richard
